Long Island rapper Mike Davis is a named you might have gotten familiar with through a few of his guest appearances in the past, most recently with Fabolous from yesterday’s Summertime Shootout mixtape. Quiet for the better part of the year, Davis is closing out the 2015 with his long-awaited debut project K I N G D A V I S, due out later today here on OnSMASH. To build some anticipation for the forthcoming effort, he shares a double music video for the mixtape’s opening songs “Talk That Talk” and “Feelin Like GOD.”
Broadcasting live from the block of his hometown streets, Mike Davis posts up with some of his crew outside a corner store, before linking up with his Harlem homies Trips and Slim from the dark and gritty streets of NY in “Talk That Talk.” For “Feelin Like GOD,” we see the Strong Island rep and his team linking up in an all white setting with words and images projecting on a screen behind them.
