OS Flashback: Mad Lion – Take Tt Easy

From London to Brooklyn, dance-hall and hip-hop/raga musician Mad Lion released visuals for his first commercial hit “Take It Easy” in 1994 which would lead to his self-titled debut album. Coincidentally in reference to our last flashback, Mad Lion went to the boogie down to shoot this gem with fellow borough heads KRS-One, Fat Joe and BDP’s all in attendance to witness something epic.

Known for his “Musical Assassin Delivering Lyrical Intelligence Over Nations,” this Jamaican descent artist from the borough was one of the first rappers to blend ragga and hip-hop here in the states as he got recognition from Notorious B.I.G. and Puff Daddy and will always be one of the most memorable artist for being a forefather in making Jamaican Dance-hall mainstream.
