One of the most underrated emcees all-time has been Busta Rhymes; but not only cause of his wicked lyricism, he’s always been a stand-out rapper and setting trends that others always took years to jump on.
In the early 90’s, Bussa Buss was part of the strong island collective, Leaders of the New School Group, which he had a standout verse on ATCQ’s “Scenario” propelling his career from one 16. After releasing his debut album in The Coming a few years later highlighted by the hit-single “Woo-Hah! Got You All In Check,” Busta had to scoop up another super-animated rapper in Ol’ Dirty Bastard for the official remix.
The visuals for the remix have always been one of our favorites all-time. From the Siamese leather straitjacket in the padded room the two used to wild out in at a psychiatric center to various other scenes throughout the music video; this (along with the original) has lived in our playlist for the span of two decades.
