Following the release of their The Trinity EP last holiday, The LOX have been quietly returning to form in preparations for their long-awaited third studio album We Are the Streets 2. While the two are still finishing up the project, DJ Mister Cee decides to liberate a throwback at noon mix for his long-time comrades from north of the city in Y.O.
Featuring most of their recognizable tracks from Money, Power & Respect, We Are the Streets, Ruff Ryders compilations and their solo projects, we get a well-balanced playlist that even offers some material we haven’t heard since the days of the non-skinny jean era. Although Donnie G hasn’t announced any of that street shit we’re missing right now, you can stay tuned for S. Pinero the Ghost’s new album Phantom & The Ghost coming next month as well as the Top 5, Dead Or Alive from Jadakiss.
