Yesterday, DJ Mister Cee held his “Best of Tuesday’s” weekly series on Hot 97 as this time he felt there was a missing void in music right now (we also agree) with the lack of R&B groups in the game. In his first edition of “I Miss R&B Groups,” he dedicated the weekly mix to two of the greatest R&B groups of all time we all grew up to with Bad Boy’s 112 and So So Def’s Jagged Edge.
Coincidentally, these two legendary groups had real life beef but have now since resolved all issues with all parties growing with more maturity. Enjoy this hour-long mix as the Finisher does up another one featuring all of the groups best hits from “Promise,” “Cupid,” “Let’s Get Married,” “Only You” and “Good Luck Charm” to name a few of the many hits they’ve provided over the years.
A collaborative project between the two groups wouldn’t be a bad thing in a very drought-like climate for baby-making music.
