It’s about to be the 5-year anniversary of Michael Jackson‘s death this June and Epic Records is already on par to release the second posthumous album from him. Dubbed XSCAPE and due out in stores on May 13, the effort will include production from Timbaland, Stargate, Rodney Jerkins and more, all of which have reworked tracks from his musical vaults that spans several decades. The goal was to maintain the King of Pop’s essence, but still breathe new life to the archived recordings.

For enthusiasts who aren’t jiggy with the new material, the deluxe edition of the album will include select tracks that were not tampered with, in their original form.

You will be able to pre-order the MJ album on April 1.

UPDATE: A new trailer for the album reveals the project will be out May 13.
