Based on the past couple of releases from M.I.A., it seems like she’s got a bit of a theme coming along. The London artist has shared her new video for “Borders,” a song she released exactly a week ago from her upcoming album Matahdatah. Directed by herself and premiered on Apple Music, the visual jumps straight into the refugee crisis, where she joins the many fleeing by way of climbing fences and crowding small boats.
