Mary J. Blige may be the queen of hip-hop soul, but she’s searching for more than that with her latest album. The singer stopped by The Hot 97 Morning Show for an interview with Ebro and Laura Stylez, where she talked about the process of creating The London Sessions.
She spoke on heading into the studio at 12pm as opposed to 4pm, working with Disclosure, Sam Smith, Emeli Sande and Rodney Jerkins, accepting the things she can’t change and much more.
