Independent Rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are currently sitting at #1 on the Billboard charts with their platinum single “Thrift Shop,” but on the low, mad labels are trying to offer them major deals. To convey this exact feeling, the two star in a Funny Or Die sketch, re-enacting what a meeting with a major would be like.
Of course, the major label tried to play them like fools. Good thing they kept it indie true to themselves and didn’t need the backing of the machine to succeed.
