Continuing his sit down with MTV’s Rob Markman, Mac Miller reveals that he has four current albums that are in the process of completion, all of which contain some sort of foundation with seven songs each. Although he doesn’t know exactly how he will finish and release them, fans should be happy with the fact that the Pittsburgh MC has some more new music on the way so early into the new year.

Mac also talks about how one of the albums came about by accident, and might actually be released as the follow up to his 2013 sophomore effort, Watching Movies With the Sound Off.

In the clip above, Mac Miller explains how the record “Eggs Aisle” came about, and how it was originally intended to feature Jay Electronica, but the two instead collaborated on another record “Suplexes Inside Of Complexes & Duplexes.” He said he was really excited when “Jay Elect” choose his beat over E-Dan’s and described it as a sensei/grasshopper moment for him.
