There’s always something about artists that take it back and evoke that old soul into their music. That’s something we enjoy around these parts, not only because we stay listening to Earth Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder on our free time, but because it’s not something you hear every day. While R&B artists are too concerned with taking it to the club or partying with their next single, someone like Leon Bridges is merely telling a story of his life and bringing it back to the essence.
The black and white video for “Coming Home” shows him going about his busy day, while still thinking of the one he loves. No matter what he’s doing, there’s always that feeling of going back to her. That’s what happens when you’re really in love with someone.
