New York rap has been taking over during the past few months, but contrasting considerably in terms of various abilities. Next up is Labba from East Flatbush, who links up with the city’s very own Sean Price and Meyhem Lauren for a cutting edge track titled “World Famous”, which pays homage to Gang Starr’s timeless “B.Y.S.”. These names haven’t been oblivious to us recently, with the two releasing two of the the best albums we’ve heard all year. “Victory is outside” according to Labba – we can’t say that we disagree.
