Currently enjoying the success of the no. 1 album in the world, To Pimp A Butterfly, TDE rapper Kendrick Lamar was in his home base of Los Angeles to stop by Power 106. In the brief interview on The Cruz Show, the Compton rapper opened up how being inspired by a trip to Africa being the major inspiration and influence into him making the project. He went to open up on the album artwork and names meanings, as well as the significance to him and his inner-circle. After discussing his upcoming music visual for King Kunta in the coming days, he closed out with sharing parts of an unreleased verse from the album he made with Sounwave and Terrace Martin.
