Kendrick Lamar announced over the weekend at Powerhouse 106 in LA that his long awaited debut album will be released October 2nd. So far the only confirmed artists for his debut opus are Dr. Dre. and Gunplay; but you can expect to see his Black Hippy cohorts along with a vast array of in-house producers as well.
The 25 year old, recently shot a video for “The Recipe” with Dr. Dre in which the visuals will showcase his version of a modern day “California Love” (women, weed, weather). We’re hoping to expect to see this video in the upcoming weeks.
