If you remember around the time that “DP3” dropped recently, Just Blaze was on Twitter and briefly spoke on a track that him and Jay-Z made around the time of The Black Album. The song was along the lines of a “Song Cry 2” (that was tentatively called “Hello, Young Lady’) and in this interview with Sway, he went into more depth about it. The track was actually considered for Magna Carta Holy Grail, but that didn’t last long.

Just also spoke on his relationship with Hov in 2013, and how their conversations don’t surround music at all, but more on a personal level.

To wrap up the interview, he talked about executive producing the upcoming Slaughterhouse album and how he wants to approach their style of making songs (not just out-rapping each other on a 16) as opposed to their last project. Producers on deck include araabMUZIK, Cardiak, !llmind, Justice L.E.A.G.U.E., Alchemist in himself.

Do remember, “Higher” is out now!
