Joey Bada$$ Interview With The Breakfast Club

Joey Bada$$ was the next artist to stop by “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show,” The Breakfast Club. In this interview, Joey discusses being influenced by what his parents were listening to from the golden age of hip-hop being enthused by hearing classic sounds and going back to study the genre.

Charlemagne brought up his music having a vintage 90s sound asking who his producers were with Joey saying he’s working with Kirk Knight, Lee Bannon, Chuck Strangers and even being co-signed by the legends like DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Q-Tip.

Yee asks about the highest bidders which he wants to stay independent including turning down an initial offer from Roc Nation. His upcoming debut studio album is nearing completion with he would like to collaborate with RZA before it hits retail.
