JAY Z’s set to take a trip downtown for his annual Labor Day weekend music festival late this year. The two-day event is still being advertised for its original Philadelphia-basing, in which tickets went on sale earlier this week; but the show will be officially taking over Grand Park this August 30th and 31st. The 12 acres park has only been opened two years, as the heart of downtown LA will be seeing its biggest event yet. JAY and Los Angeles mayor, Eric Garcetti are set to make a formal announcement later today for 2014 Made in America.
Last year, the festival included top acts I the likes of his wife Beyoncé and legendary rock band, Nine Inch Nails. A press event will be airing today at noon ET hopefully revealing acts and another imminent documentary to air.
