More records from J Dilla’s vault are finding the light of day and we’re not mad at it. Originally planned to be released on Dilla’s LP The Diary, but were found on a two-track demo tape shortly after his 2006 passing. Engineered by Dave Cooley, he mastered “Trucks” the best he could after his extensive work with Dilla in the past.
The Diary is scheduled to finally be released later this year on Pay Jay Records.
