With fans steadily supporting J. Cole‘s latest album 2014 Forest Hill Drive, he paid a visit to the Late Show on CBS to perform “Be Free” for the David Letterman audience. Amidst the turmoil going on in the country in places like Ferguson, Staten Island and anywhere unarmed people are being killed by police, the song touched a deep chord with those listening in the audience, especially Dave.
