New Music from the 6?
There has been much speculation surrounding Drake and whether or not he’s going to be dropping new music side from his album Views From The 6. The most recent tidbit came from DeMar DeRozan, who said he wanted Drizzy’s tape, which was dropping January. January has come and gone and there’s still no sign of it, but out of Toronto comes more hints of a possible project.
This time, it’s from fellow OVO collaborator P. Reign.
“I know Drake’s dropping a mixtape that I’ve already heard a lot of and it’s crazy. I think its some of the best I’ve heard from him in my life and I already know off Drake’s mixtape the world is going to shake. I know Kanye is getting ready to put something out, I won’t be surprised if Hov put something out. I think it’ll be a huge year for hip-hop. I know Kendrick has something to put out. A$AP Rocky, a lot of top dudes are going for that top spot. I think it’ll be one of the craziest years yet.”
There are four more days left in the month, so maybe Drake surprises everyone in the late night, much like he does when he releases new music on the Internet. We’ll find out. One thing’s for sure, he’ll need something out before that run of festivals this summer.
