From The New Classic to Reclassified
Season 40 of Saturday Night Live continued last night with Jim Carrey making his long-awaited return to Studio 8H. In the midst of promoting Dumb and Dumber To with Jeff Daniels, the latest episode centered on comedian Leslie Jones finally joining the main roster as a key player (and to save the show this season); as well as Iggy Azalea making her debut performance for those on hand at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
After wrapping up The New Classic Tour two weeks ago, Iggy brought sounds from her debut album to perform “Fancy“ then jumping into a collaborative affair with Rita Ora on “Black Widow.” Following the first set, she made a brief a guest cameo in a sketch with Mr. Carey, and closed out the night with a performance of her latest single “Beg For It“ with songstress MØ.
