With the topic of Ferguson, Baltimore, Mike Brown and Freddie Gray being such a hot topic of debate in the United States, many artists have shown support for the Black Lives Matter movement in different ways. Whether it was by raising awareness or marching in protest, there was been a lot of talk surrounding the subject in recent months. Freeway is dedicating “Illuminate” to all the victims of police brutality, even the ones who don’t get mainstream attention and only get local attention in their hometown.
