Free’weezy was the next artist to stop by ThisIs50 to sit down with young Jack Thriller. Here, Free discusses his passion for the music which is why he’s still here a decade later keeping up with the times in this current hip-hop. He also goes on to talk about his new album “Diamond In The Ruff” which he feels he went back to his roots production wise with Just Blaze and Bink! which he feels is his best work in a long time.
Jack brings up Hov coming to Philly over the summer and having him, Bleek and Young Gunz come out to perform in a mini Roc reunion concert which he currently has plans for a show next month. In closing he speaks on the 2007 deal with G-Unit deal with 50 Cent that was initially planned to go down but fell apart at the last second as Jack went on to say Free’s underrated.
