Drizzy outlines OVO Sound game plan with upcoming album, Views From The 6.
Over the last few months, Drake took absolutely no breaks from Nothing Was the Same with multiple notable releases this year, including “Trophies,” “We Made” and most recently “0 To 100.” Although he’s shied away from the music videos, the Internet and the streets have been consistently getting their bi-monthly Drizzy fix.
With Majid Jordan’s Place Like This EP and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s sophomore effort PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO coming this month, Drizzy has revealed plans for an official fourth studio album too. Views From The 6 is obviously in its recording stages (if you’ve been paying attention to the lyrics in his latest songs), but we’ve also seen numerous teasers through Billboards around his hometown with the number 6.
The album is essentially an ode to his city of Toronto, and the 6 is centered around the area codes of 416 and 647.
Details remain scarce at the moment, but fans of Drizzy and OVO sound can stay tuned for more news and a concrete release date for his upcoming fourth studio album.
