Dr. Dre & Kendrick Lamar Join Game for “The Documentary” 10th Anniversary Show

Dr. Dre Surprise attendees to perform “Runnin”

Two weeks ago, Los Angeles rapper The Game revealed plans to celebrate MLK weekend and the release of his debut album The Documentary with a special concert. Yesterday marked the project’s 10 year anniversary, which he took over the Belasco Theatre to celebrate his career. Chuck Taylor promised fans to expect a few surprises, but he shocked all re-uniting with Dr. Dre on stage to perform “Runnin,” as well as brining out Kendrick Lamar for an updated version of “Westside Story.” Last year, the Bompton rapper took most of the year to promote his Blood Money Entertainment imprint with the release of his Year Of The Wolf album. Before listeners got their hands on that project, he revealed plans to release The Documentary 2 on the day of his original project in 2005.

While that date has unfortunately passed, we’re hopeful he’s readying to deploy the project sometime this year.
