The end of an era
In a very left field announcement by DJ Funkmaster Flex today, it is DJ Mister Cee‘s last day at Hot 97. Details as to why have not surfaced as of yet, but the legendary radio DJ is saying goodbye to the iconic station and confirmed it on his own Instagram account.
As some may remember, Mister Cee was caught in a myriad of arrests and controversy last year, forcing him to set the record straight on the station. He almost resigned one time before, following the drama, but decided to stay at Hot 97 after a talk with co-workers and friends at the station.
“THANK U 4 EVERYTHING. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!!”
