We didn’t know what to goddamn think after seeing that DaM-FunK put his spin on Disclosure‘s “Holding On” single, mostly because we’re so used to hearing the regular version. Things were skeptical before pressing play, but as soon as the beat kicked in, we knew we could get jiggy with it. Although it doesn’t give you the same feeling as the original in terms of making you want to dance in a club drunk somewhere, you can still two-step the fuck out of this one. Here goes to hoping the Lawrence brothers find this remix into their speakers and reach out to DaM-FunK for an official collaboration in the future.
Dam’s Invite the Light album drops this Friday, while Disclosure’s Caracal drops September 25.
