Curren$y & Dame Dash Reach $3 Million Dollar Settlement Deal after Lawsuit

Spitta can finally move along in his esteemed career with the JETS!

When Curren$y and Jet Life were taking their talents internationally, they had an unfortunate fallout with Dame Dash and his DD172 brand. After a longstanding legal battle behind-the-scenes, both sides have come to terms in a new $2.9 million dollar settlement – including legal fees paid by Dash.

During 2012, Spitta Andretti witnessed his Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II projects released with his permission through Damon’s imprint, which was coincidentally before his Warner Bros. deal. After the New Orleans rapper inked his major deal, the Harlem mogul reportedly continued to drop retail material – prompting the J.E.T.S. collective to originally and unfortunately sue for $1.5 million.

While Dame has made it clear that he would like to continue a friendship with Spitta, even if the working relationship is not repairable, we’re hopeful that all parties involved can move forward and continue making positive contributions to the culture.

Canal Street Confidential on the way, though.
