Common, was recently in NYC with Elliot Wilson for the latest installment of Life+Time’s web series, The Truth. Leading up to his 10th studio album Nobody Smiling due out in two weeks, he opened up his longevity in the game that’s spanned over three decades to remain relevant with the emergence of new artist that’s gain national attention in Chicago.
With No I.D. behind the boards for the entire project, the humbled and excited CHI rapper for his new album opened up about the tracks we haven’t heard. Currently, his favorite track is “Rewind That,” which he cites having a Gang Starr feel to detail his music history.
