Common was the next artist to visit DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle radio show on Sirius Shade 45. In the video, Com discusses his fondness for Will Smith in being inspired to pursue his Hollywood acting career but still keeping true to his hip-hop roots. The two then jumped into discussing his upcoming film “LUV” in theaters nationwide this Friday.
He compares the movie to his hometown of Chicago which children are dying every day which the movie explains it’s a revolving process in the urban communities with all races being able to relate to the story. Common touches on his upcoming mixtape due this May which has guest appearances from No I.D., Travi$ Scott, Hit-Boy, Kid Cudi and possibly Lupe Fiasco as he also plans follow-up with his 10th studio album this year.
