In case you didn’t know, USA captain and Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey has always had a passion for hip-hop music. With arguably the best years of his sporting career behind him, the Texas-born native, who scored the quickest goal so far in the current World Cup earlier this week, will be releasing a rap album under his stage persona of Deuce. The 31-year old spent time recording the project during the weeks leading up to the 2014 World Cup, and the full-length LP will be titled The Redux, containing 13 tracks. While we’re sure his music has changed since 2006, Dempsey’s video for “Don’t Tread” alongside Big Hawk and XO provides a taste.
