Earlier this morning, TMZ learned from the Washington Metropolitan Police Department that Chris Brown and a bodyguard were arrested for felony assault charges. Brown reportedly got into an argument with a man outside of the W Hotel and punched him in the face.
Two woman approached Brown in front of the W Hotel and asked to take a picture with him. As the pic was about to be taken, 2 men rushed over to get in the photo. We’re told Chris then said, “I’m not into this g*y shit, I’m into boxing,” and threw a punch at the alleged victim. The fight was then taken to the ground.
The 24-year-old Brown is currently still on probation in California after his previous felony domestic conviction; which could possibly turn into jail time. Along with his bodyguard, the two were still in custody, with the victim claiming an alleged injury. We’ll keep you posted on any news surfacing regarding the story.
UPDATE: Charges stemming from Chris Brown’s alleged felony assault have been dropped down to misdemeanors. Brown and his body guard spent 36 hours in Washington jail to and pleaded not guilty to the charges. They were immediately released with bail and Brown was ordered to go directly to California after being released within 48 hours and talk to his probation officer. He was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the main making accusations and will be required to return to court in Washington on November 24th.
