Checking in from the tombs
After getting a call from Bobby Shmurda last week and assuming the cops cut off the call when the phone line went blank, Hot 97 checks back in with Shmurda to clear up the fact that it was actually their end that cut the call off, not the police. Either way, he was joined by Rowdy Rebel on the line to talk about what they didn’t get to last week with their conversation.
Bobby talked about how he doesn’t have management at the moment and is waiting for someone to sign him, saying he wants 50 Cent involved in some capacity. As far as the label not supporting him and his crew by putting up the bail, Rowdy says it’s more about Sony and not Epic Records, because they’re the parent company.
Shmurda also says Meek Mill has been in correspondence from jail and how things are within the group at the moment. Apparently there are some people who have distanced themselves after their run-in’s with the law and even an Uncle that might have stole money from them.
