Free the Nine!

Over the summer, Bobby Shmurda turned down an original 8-year plea deal, for charges alleging conspiracy to commit murder, multiple weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. Page Six of the NY Post has learned some news regarding weapons and drugs dealing charge regarding Ackquille ‘$hmurda’ Pollard and his associates. While the 21-year-old was originally granted a $2 million dollar bail, following his December arrest last year, Judge James Burke of the New York City Criminal Court has denied Bobby’s bail again, after his previous four bail applications.

Along with 14 other GS9 members the Brooklyn collective, the new trial date has been moved to February 2016; meaning Shmoney Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel will have to spend another holiday season behind bars. With Special Narcotics Prosecutor Nigel Farinha continuing to build a case against the group for the alleged murder of a 19-year-old rival, the nine has hired their third lawyer, Alex Spiro of Brafman & Associates, to clear their innocence this winter.

Look for more details to emerge over the next four months before the case.
