Today marks the 13th anniversary in the passing of Christopher Lee Rios who we all knew as the Big Punisher. Coincidentally, for DJ Mister Cee dedicated today to the BX borough for all them true hip-hop heads as we got an hour-long mix dedicated to Big Pun.
There’s no mourning around the tri-state ever as the Finisher wanted to celebrate Pun’s contributions to the genre. While Pun’s name is never the first one to come up when fans discuss who are the greatest emcee’s of all time, his fellow peers that loved or hated him will always admit he was one of the nastiest lyrical rappers ever and always out shined anybody that stepped in the booth with him.
