Beyonce’s Music May Be Pulled Off TIDAL

The QUEEN of Tidal?!

Sony has strongarmed Soundcloud as of recent because of the lack of monetizing and ended up pulling all of their artists music off the streaming service. Now they’re going after TIDAL after contract negotiations have stalled. The irony? Beyonce‘s catalog is owned by Sony and her music can be liable to be pulled of the co-owners service.

According to Bloomberg, Sony is demanding money from TIDAL to feature it’s music on the platform, but they have not yet worked out the details. Sony also owns subsidiaries RCA, Epic Records and Columbia, which means artists like J. Cole, Alicia Keys (all part of the TIDAL music inaugural address), Michael Jackson, Outkast, A$AP Rocky, R. Kelly, Pharrell, Usher, Miley Cyrus, and more can also be pulled aside from Queen Bey. It would be a very damaging move for the service, who has suffered plenty of backlash from fans and the media already.
