Moving aside from her controversial outbreaks relating to Angel Haze, we’re informed of exciting prospects for the female Harlem artist. Azealia Banks joins the likes of Justin Timberlake, Miguel, Pharrell, Timbaland and The-Dream to be called up by Beyoncé for a chance to appear on her untitled fifth album.
The news broke out from a lengthy interview between Azealia and Shar Reid for clothing website ASOS, where she revealed hitting the studio for the big occasion. Whether the work will be included on the final concept is another story, but the thought of the two collaborating could be very interesting. She said:
“I actually did something for her record in Miami a couple weeks ago. I really didn’t want to say it because I didn’t want to jinx it ’cause you know how that shit goes.”
Azealia Banks’ debut album Broke With Expensive Taste is currently in the works for release on February 12th via Polydor and Interscope Records.
