It’s been a little over a month since we got something new from August Alsina. It could be that he’s soon to be rocking stages alongside Usher on the The UR Experience Tour or that he recently recovered from being in a coma for three days. Although we’ve heard some nice features from August in his absence, he makes sure to put a stop to the drought today with a new release, speaking on all things that keep him grindin.
Following up his popular “No Love” single with Nicki Minaj, the R&B crooner is back with a new single in form of a music video for the track Grindin’. A sick flip of the Lil Wayne and Drake single of the same title, but with his signature style owning the track. The new single connects him with frequent collaborator, producer Knucklehead for the uplifting song.
Could August be gearing up for a possible mixtape before he puts things into motion for his sophomore album? We’ll have to wait and find out. For now enjoy his dope new track.
