Not long after linking up with Ab-Soul in a video for “As I Unfold,” Alex Wiley and Kembe X return as a duo for one of two collaborations that appeared on the Village Party mixtape. “Takeoff,” produced by Hippie Sabotage, finds the two Chicago emcees in another trippy visual from Visual Mecca. It lasts only a couple of minutes, but the project’s goal comes across more than ever. Wiley also appeared on Hoodie Allen’s new album People Keep Talking, out today.
