A$AP Rocky’s MTV RapFix Live Performance

The first ever RapFix Live performer, A$AP Rocky, stopped by the 1515 studios to talk to Sway about his upcoming album Long.Live.A$AP and give the audience a performance that reminded us of the old TRL days. Among the tracks he rocked out to, were buzz singles “Goldie” and “Fuckin’ Problems,” as well as the debut of the album intro.

Of the album during his interview, Rocky spoke on the various features on there (including a track with ScHoolboy Q about money, bitches and weed) and how he didn’t want to box himself in giving fans only a certain type of record. He used Long.Live.A$AP to appeal to a larger audience, which is why he reached out to people like Florence Welch and Santigold to round out the sound and show different musical sides of himself.

If you missed appearances yesterday, you can catch his entire performance on MTV’s RapFixLive after the jump. Rocky’s debut is due out in stores January 15.
