A$AP Rocky Talks Rita Ora ‘ALLA’ Diss & How New York Lost Identity After 50 Cent

“There hasn’t been a New York sound since 50 Cent, G-Unit and Dipset!”

Yesterday, A$AP Rocky released his latest album At. Long. Last. A$AP. on iTunes, two weeks before its original June date. During his first media run stop, the uptown rapper made his way to Hot 97 to talk with Ebro in the Morning about the new album and a few controversial topics surrounding it. The focus of the album on social media and beyond has been his lyrics aimed at Rita Ora on “Better Things” and certain other lines where he mentions other celebrities. Lord Flacko was quick to say the track is old and he only used it to air her out because she had previously caused problems in a relationship he was in prior. But he doesn’t want those lines to to be sole focus of the album.

He also talked about how New York lost it’s sound since the 50 Cent and Dipset days, why he only sleeps with confident women and breaks down how much A$AP Yams meant to everyone else because of how connected he was because he was willing to help others at their craft. For those who are also wondering who Joe Fox is, he made a short cameo in the interview as well.

Peep what Rocky had to talk about during the half hour on Hot 97.
