90s R&B: The Best Of Timbaland

timbaland

It could probably be argued that 2013 may be considered Timbaland‘s year. Producing for major projects like Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail and Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience is no easy feat. But even with all the success Timbo is enjoying at the moment, we still go back and play tracks he was producing over 15 years ago.

You remember those days, right? Back when a young Ginuwine was wooing all the ladies left and right. Back when Aaliyah was alive and smashing every single she touched. Back when you couldn’t turn on the radio and not hear Missy Elliott featured on someone’s single. And the circle didn’t expand much from that. Between Tim, Missy, Ginuwine and Aaliyah, they had a chokehold on a good bulk of ’90s R&B. BY THEMSELVES.

Although we’ve seen R&B make it’s way back in recent years, there’s still nothing like what we heard when we were growing up. Maybe today’s era is finally giving it good competition, but there might ever be anything like Timbaland’s run in the ’90s.

Reminisce with us through baby making music, hit singles and unreleased gems as we take you back and give you classics from the man they call Timothy Mosley.
