Soak up some game from 50 Cent discussing some real shit.

Entrepreneur and legendary Queens rapper, 50 Cent finally made his way to the Hot 97 Morning Show. Obviously there to promote his forthcoming Animal Ambition album as well as the upcoming Starz TV series, Power, Fiddy was questioned the state of NY hip-hop. Following his run 10 years ago with Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre (both of which went Diamond worldwide), 50 explained his entrance into the game being blackballed and other artists not working with him initially forcing him to distance himself from the rest of the game.

That would segue into another elephant in the room regarding his current stance with Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks revealing he wanted the pair to use his momentum to build their own careers. Although he didn’t have anything bad to say about the two personally, he opened up about his childhood friend Yayo still appearing in music videos that were recently shot after Tony’s social media comments about the state of G-Unit. 50 would go onto also discuss Summer Jam and why its significant for him to still be part of the biggest hip-hop event of the year; especially this year with Nas touching the same stage.

Continue after the jump, to soak up more game from Fif discussing the infamous plane ride with him and Ja Rule, comparing his beef with Rick Ross to Nas and JAY Z, and a few uncomfortable discussions with street life that Hot 97 wasn’t ready for.
