Now that 50 Cent is off Interscope Records, he can actually say what he thinks without having label interfering. During his town hall meeting and sit down with MTV, Curtis was not afraid to throw a little jab at his former label. It’s not something that is out of pocket by any means (we’ve all noticed this strategy throughout the years), but he states Interscope Records has turned into Beats by Dre Records thanks to the marketing they’ve used to promote the headphones through their videos.

Considering Jimmy Iovine is an OG in the game and has a lot of pull out at IGA, it was easily done. Of course, this doesn’t mean Fif wasn’t frustrated when the label blurred his t-shirt/hat with the SMS Audio logo, though.

Expect to hear more of that classic 50 Cent shit talking ahead of his Animal Ambition album, due out online and nationwide on June 3. You know how Fif does.
