In the clip above, $hort Dog explains how his music started as and what it evolved to, ultimately giving him a career span of over 20 years in rap through very sexually explicit lyrics (his mother was not too proud of him at first). Not usually known for club records, the staple Too $hort song of our era has to be the 2006 “Blow The Whistle” single.
