’12 Monkeys’ leaves the big screen to hit TV!
After Nikita’s unfortunate finale nearly two years ago, Aaron Stanford stars in his first ever TV series for the new science fiction mystery drama, 12 Monkeys. Based on the same 1995 film that starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, we’re introduced to a time travel from the post-apocalyptic future by the name of James Cole (Stanford).
With 93 percent of humanity decimated from a deadly virus spread by the Army of the Twelve Monkeys, James must soon help virologist Cassandra Railly to save the human race in the present day before the inevitable for 2043. The show’s title may not catch the eye for casual viewers, but with a familiar cast of talent’s we’ve loved over the years and an even more intriguing storyline – many critics have given the 12 Monkeys a positive response.
