Watch the Official Trailer for HBO’s New Series “Vinyl”

Shit is about to be LIT in January!

All you have to say is Martin Scorsese and HBO and we’ll be tuning in. The newest series from creator Terrence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos) is Vinyl, which is set to debut in January. The cable network has actually been teasing the show for months now, but they have just released the first official teaser, showing a bit more of what the TV series will be about.

As you may have already heard, the show takes place in New York City circa the 1970’s when drugs, sex and punk/disco were at their height. Record executive Richie Finestra is looking to make it through the “the drug and sex fueled music business” and rebuild his label with a new sound, but there’s havoc to be wrecked in the process. You can see in the trailer there will be plenty of violence, cocaine, pills and parties. It’s like the rock and roll version of The Wolf Of Wall Street.

The series will also be executive produced by Mick Jagger and star the likes of Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale and more. It will debut on HBO in January.
