Stephen Colbert on David Letterman was less awkward than you’d probably expect. It almost felt like it was the passing of the torch to “the new kid” in some ways, especially when the band rolled out the red carpet before he went into the Top 10. By the way, that Top 10 was unearthed from the dungeons of Stephen’s past jokes closet and the story behind the 17-year old bit was pretty interesting. It’s funny how fate works.
