It’s been less than 48 hours since the season one finale of True Detective and Jimmy Kimmel is already throwing shade, live from Austin, Texas at SXSW. With Seth Rogen joining him as special guest tonight, he unleashed his rendition of what the second season of the HBO series would look like if it were up to him.
Most of the scenes should look familiar to you if you’ve been following the show, except this time, they have slightly different endings (we can’t see the real Rust Cohle quoting Cher, singing duets or getting cozy with Marty Hart). That beer fort was pretty funny, but things got extra bromantic for Jimmy and Seth in the big fight and ending.
No mention of whether the light was winning, though.
