Following the release of his Mudface album last week, Redman sat down with XXL Magazine to talk about his upcoming endeavors. In the interview, he couldn’t confirm whether a Hit Squad reunion would take place, but definitely did confirm a Hit Squad reunion could take place in the very near future for an EP. With Muddy Waters 2 set as his primary focus for 2016, he and cohort Method Man are readying to roll-out their Blackout 3 album, as the official soundtrack for How High 2.
The movie is set to arrive sometime in 2017, as he touched on the writers needing a little time to finish the script. Filming is likely to take place in the coming months, with a realistic roll-out set for the year after. Let us know in the comments if you’re excited for the motion picture.
